Read every 10-K like a buyer signal.
Public filings disclose what the next twelve months look like. We read them at scale, extract the lines your reps would highlight, and turn them into account-level signals.
Four signal classes from every annual filing.
- 01 Capacity expansion · capex authorization"$42M capex authorized for Memphis facility expansion." Item 7 MD&A. We tag the location, the dollar amount, and the timing window.
- 02 Supplier concentration · single-source risk"The Company relies on third-party injection molders for ~40% of housing components." Item 1A. We extract the percentage, the supply class, and any "evaluating additional suppliers" language.
- 03 Outsourcing language · process disclosureStatements naming outsourced processes (machining, finishing, assembly) by HTS class. We flag every mention with cross-reference to the supplier disclosure list.
- 04 Tariff exposure · supply chain riskItem 7A market risk language about Section 301, tariffs, or sourcing-country shifts. Pairs with our customs feed for confirmation.

How the pipeline runs.
- 01 Daily EDGAR sweep. All new 10-K and 10-K/A filings are pulled within 6 hours of EDGAR publication.
- 02 Section parse. Items 1A, 7, and 7A are extracted as structured text. Tables and figures are OCR'd separately.
- 03 Signal extraction. Each section is run through a tuned classifier for the four signal classes. Outputs are normalized to schema.
- 04 Entity resolution. CIK number, parent-subsidiary tree, DUNS, and customer-side account names are unified.
- 05 Cross-reference. Filing signals are cross-checked against customs and hiring feeds within the same 90-day window.
Limits we are honest about. 10-Ks describe the past 12 months and forward-looking statements with safe-harbor hedging. We are not predicting the future. We are surfacing language a senior buyer would react to if they had time to read 12,000 filings.
Privately held targets do not file 10-Ks. For private prospects we lean on customs and hiring signals, plus parent-company filings where the private entity is a subsidiary. See US Customs →
